Spreading the Gospel of the Glory of Christ for the Joy of All Peoples in Him
Everything exists for the glory of God (1 Cor 10:31), and there is no greater display of God’s glory than the Gospel of Jesus Christ (2 Cor 4:4). Moreover, nothing brings God more glory in us than when we find our deepest joy in Him through the Gospel (Luk 2:10-11; Rom 15:5-13; 1 Pet 1:8-12; Rev 19:6-7). We long to see His glory fill the earth like the waters cover the sea (Hab 2:14), and so we strive, in all that we say and do, to spread the Gospel of the glory of Christ for the joy of all peoples in Him (Ps 67; 96; Phil 1:27; 1 Cor 9:19-23). This is the Great Commission Jesus gave to His disciples (Matt 28:16-20). This is why we exist as a church.
